Road Trip Planning
Making memories, one road at a time.
“No road is long with good company.”
- Turkish Proverb
Let me be that company to you!
You may think: “Why would I need someone to plan my road trip? I can do it on my own!”
Well, sure you can! But unless you have countless hours to spend on research and planning, or you completely don’t care what you get to see and experience during your road trip, you may need some help planning the details.
See, I’ve been planning road trips for years. Our family takes at least one big roadtrip, and a few smaller ones, every year. I know, first hand, how many crazy hours it takes to research routes, sightseeing, activities, accommodations, attractions and so on… It’s hours and hours spent in front of the computer, trying to figure out how many miles you need to drive each day to get where you’re going. It’s hours of comparing hotels or camp sites. Hours of reading reviews about sightseeing and activities. And trying to find the best stops along the way, so that kids are not bored. I know. I have been there. I’m there every year planning our family trips, and every time I work on my clients’ road adventures.
But the thing is… I LOVE doing this part of my job! I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE doing all the research and putting together all the details!
So what do you say? Do you want to give it a try and let me be your travel companion on your next road trip through USA? :)

Road Trip Planning Fee must be paid prior to any work being done on your itinerary. If you're not sure if you want to hire me, yet, schedule a free phone or Zoom consultation, so we can get to know each other and see if we're a good fit to work together on your road trip.

Planning a road trip is very time-consuming, and by cutting it close to your departure date (within 30 days), I may need to turn down or delay other client's trip planning, or I may need to spend extra time after hours working on your itinerary, and I believe I should be compensated for that time.
-
Every trip is individually curated for each client and their immediate travel companions. Since the trip is custom to you, I request it not be shared with others, and not posted online. Please respect my time and expertise. If you know someone who needs help with their trip, I would love to work with them. Please send them my way.

Pricing shown is for planning services only. Cost of accommodations, transportation, gas, activities, sightseeing, entrance fees, food, insurance etc. is not included. I can help you estimate the cost of the whole trip, if needed.

My goal is to deliver the initial itinerary (Phase 1) back to the client for approval within 1-3 business days after planning fee is paid and pre-planning consultation is completed, depending on the complexity of the itinerary. Once client approves Phase 1 itinerary, I will get to work on the details of the trip, checking in with the client often and keeping them informed of the progress of the planning.
Final travel documents with all trip details should be delivered to the client no later than 7 days prior to departure, with the exception of last-minute planning. If possible, itinerary will be delivered sooner.
-
Absolutely! This is your trip, and I want to make it perfect for you. I take into account your wants and needs. You will have multiple options to choose from along the way, and you will have the final say in all the aspects of your road trip.
-
No. Once the planning has started, the fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The fee pays for my time spent working on your trip, as I don't receive any other compensation for planning road trips.
